Aldershot Garrison offers outstanding outdoor sports facilities across a spacious 200-acre complex. Our outdoor sports venues cater to all levels, from recreational players to elite athletes and event organisers.
With football, rugby, athletics, cricket, hockey and more, we provide year-round access to premier outdoor sports facilities. Enjoy floodlit pitches, stadium seating, modern pavilions, and specialist equipment at every outdoor venue.
Our outdoor sports grounds also come with a dedicated parking facility that is available on-site. For larger events, there is a second overflow parking facility with spaces for an additional 300 cars.
Aldershot Garrison Military Stadium
Or Military Stadium supports both football and athletics on a seasonal basis, with top-quality track and pitch.
Winter months focus on football, while summer features full athletics use with steeplechase, throws cages, and jump pits.
The outdoor track remains open year-round, perfect for training and competition.

The Military Stadium is also available for athletics events and is equipped with a variety of features, including:
- A 400m eight lane track
- A 100m nine lane straight track
- A throw cage for hammer and discus throwing
- A shot put fan
- Long jump pits
- Triple jump pits
- Steeplechase water jumps and barriers
- Additional equipment for track and field events
Rugby Stadium
Our full-size rugby stadium comes with a full range of features for players and spectators alike. These features include:
Our rugby stadium is ideal for competitive matches, drills, and development sessions.
Hockey Centre
Play on two full-size, floodlit, sand-based pitches, each maintained for high-performance outdoor sports training and matches. While primarily used for hockey, the pitches are also regularly used for five-a-side football.
Car parking on site is free with an overflow available and additional parking for over 300 spaces nearby.
Pitch One features:
- Full 500-lux lighting for perfectly illuminated evening matches
- A beautifully maintained sand-dressed pitch
- Markings and measurements for hockey matches
Pitch two is sand filled and features a lower lighting level. This allows for simultaneous matches with perfect feature parity.
The pavilion includes:
- Changing rooms
- A patio area
- A large function room for pre- and post-match socials
Wavell 3G and Training Football Pitch
Our Wavel football pitch and training pitch offer a fully rounded and pristine feature set that is perfect for local club activities; from training sessions to hone players’ skills to full matches.
Our 3G artificial pitch is FA-registered, full-size, and floodlit, making it ideal for structured outdoor football sessions.
Next to it, a grass training zone provides flexibility for smaller sessions, drills, or team development.
The onsite pavilion has changing rooms, toilets, and a kitchen space for team use.
Queens Parade Pitches
Queens Parade offers multiple grass pitches for football, rugby, and general outdoor sports activities. It also hosts American football, lacrosse, rounders, and ultimate frisbee on its large, level playing surface.
The area is frequently used for sporting events and festivals thanks to its scale and flexibility.
- Six football pitches
- Two of these pitches are outfitted with floodlights for evening matches
- Three rugby pitches, one fully flood lit
Cricket Grounds
Two grass cricket pitches are available from April to September, suitable for league and recreational play.

- A dedicated spectator space
- Available for everyday use
- Including club training and social matches

Booking courts at Aldershot Tennis Centre. Operated by Laurus, booking information for the outdoor courts can made directly with them. Details on booking requirements are shared below;
Any military personnel that wish to book a court at ATC have 3 options:
Outdoor courts that are booked more than 2 days in advance (but within the 2-week booking window) are free of charge.

Outdoor courts that are booked less than 2 days in advance are charged at the current rate.

- The 2022 rate is £10 for non-members and £8 for members.
- Military personnel can become members for £65 per year.

Indoor courts that are booked within the 2-week booking window are charged at the current rate.
